Christine Liesen, DDS
Dr. Christine Liesen attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1987. She regularly completes continuing education courses, and she has received advanced training in CEREC, removable partials and dentures, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, sleep medicine and dental oral sedation. She has practiced dentistry for over 34 years in Wisconsin, 22 of which have been in the Park Falls, Woodruff, and Manitowish waters areas of Northern Wisconsin.
Dr. Liesen is a member of several professional organizations, including:

Additionally, she is a member of several local dental societies and has served on state dental association committees. Dr. Liesen has also received several awards and certifications, including Local Business Leaders, Local Chamber Business of the Year, Dental Community Volunteer Leadership Recognition, the Donald Dental Service Award for Undergraduates, and the Veterans Overseas Dental Mission Service certificate.
Dr. Liesen enjoys her profession and is passionate about dentistry. She is privileged to work with a fabulous team, and she is dedicated to giving people beautiful smiles and to helping her patients and her community attain good oral health practices. Dr. Liesen enjoys working with her husband and daughter in their dental practice each day.
Outside the office, Dr. Liesen enjoys spending time with friends and family, being a grandma, traveling, attending sporting events year-round, and being outdoors.
John J. Pinzl, DDS
Dr. John Pinzl attended the Marquette University School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 1987. Following dental school, Dr. Pinzl completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration in Milwaukee. He regularly completes additional training online and by attending continuing education courses. He has completed over 100 hours of training in dental implant placement, including placing 200 implants since completing his training to restore his patient’s smiles.
Dr. Pinzl is a member of the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association. He is also committed to patient education to ensure that each patient he meets understands their oral health and treatment options.
Dr. Pinzl has been married to Dr. Liesen for over 35 years. Together, they have five children, one of whom has joined them in their practice (Dr. Lauren Kessinger), and eight grandchildren. His hobbies include snowshoeing, kayaking, traveling, and cross-country and downhill skiing. Dr. Pinzl is also an avid reader and loves being outdoors. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his expanding family.
Lauren Kessinger, DMD
Dr. Lauren Kessinger completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh before attending the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, from which she graduated in 2019. She is continually taking additional continuing education courses to further her education, and she has completed courses in orthodontics, endodontics, BOTOX®, dermal fillers, and oral surgery. Dr. Kessinger is Invisalign® certified, as well as certified in BOTOX and dermal fillers through the Academy of Facial Esthetics.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Kessinger joined her parents (Dr. Liesen and Dr. Pinzl) in their practice in the St. Louis area. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the ACT Dental Best Practices Consulting.
Dr. Kessinger believes it is extremely important to give back to the communities where she grew up and where she raised her children. She participates in mentoring high school and college students who are interested in dentistry as a career and sponsors many events and sports teams in the area.
Dr. Kessinger and her husband, Andy, have three children, Grayson, Liam, and Colin. They enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible, and they can often be found hiking, biking, boating, snowshoeing, and downhill skiing.
